About Stray Stitch
Somewhere between a full-time job and a stash of yarn I keep pretending is "for a project," Stray Stitch happened. It started with one hook, one skein, and a completely reasonable amount of ambition. It did not stay that way.
Now there's crochet. There's punch needle. There's an embroidery hoop that's been "almost done" since spring. I have exactly one system for keeping track of it all, and that system is purely just vibes.
Here's the thing about a stray stitch, though...it doesn't just mean lost. It also means the thing that wandered off and found something better. So while it might look like chaos from the outside _twelve WIPs, a to-do list with its own to-do list, a business built during the in-between hours of an actual job and an actual life), it's actually just how the good stuff gets made. One craft leads to another. A stray thread turns into a whole new project. Yada yada yada.
So yeah. I make too many things, in too many mediums, on no real schedule. Every stray thread eventually finds its way into something — and every finished piece you get from this shop is proof that it always comes together in the end.
